A quick perusal of the Premier League's goalscoring charts for the 2013/14 season to date prove that the English top-flight - still the best league on the planet for some - is currently blessed with a plethora of top striking talent.
While we have largely seen a move towards a more reserved and calculated style of football across the continent in recent years with it often now being perceived as a rarity/novelty when a manager fields more than one striker in his starting XI, goals are still, of course, the lifeblood of the beautiful game.
A quick review of this most unpredictable season in recent memory got us thinking - just who are the best finishers in the Premier League at the moment? Which order should they go in?
Here, we intend to look at that and rank the best finishers in the Premier League based on their skill/prowess*.

Also, this list is not just for strikers and is also not necessarily reflective of the number of goals each players has scored this season - although that is of course a huge factor in deciding who got a place in the list.
In the interests of fairness, we have tried to include players from a few different clubs (aside from where we feel absolutely necessary) and, as a rule, we had to include two midfielders.
