GK: Petr Cech - Cech hasn't had the best of starts but has redeemed himself by making great saves when needed.

RB: Branislav Ivanovic
- Easy pick. He is best defensive full-back in the league and solid in attack too. The complete player.

CB: Per Mertesacker- Has been ridiculously good for Arsenal. The Laurent Koscielny partnership (Koscienly just missed out) works for Per because Koscielny is fast enough to make up for Mertesacker's lack of pace.

CB: John Terry - Best defender in the league. His form is the reason Chelsea have the best defence in the league this season, in my opinion.

LB: Luke Shaw - It's a toss up between Bryan Oviedo and Luke Shaw, but, again, the English youngster has been impressive amidst the transfer speculation and is England's next great left-back.

CM: Wayne Rooney - Manchester United would be just outside the relegation zone without him, or at least in lower-mid table.

CM: Fernandinho - He is so good, he makes his job look easy with decent attacking output, great defensive positioning and calm tackling. He allows Yaya Toure to move forward and damage the opposition defence.

RM: Willian - There is no single position for him because he's everywhere. He is the glue that links the midfield and the strikers. Always popping up in the weirdest places, which gets annoying for opposition teams.

LM: Eden Hazard - He is direct, incisive, dangerous and a future Ballon d'Or recipient.

ST: Luis Suarez - 23 goals so far this season, topping the scoring chart.

ST: Alvaro Negredo - Signing of the season. Strong, agile, a great finisher and works well with Sergio Aguero. Perfect transfer by City.
