This has to be the worst alley-oop attempt of the season

Oh Derrick Williams, you silly sausage. The Sacramento Kings star tried to indulge himself in a little bit of showboating against the Chicago Bulls on Monday but went things spectacularly wrong. Cue embarrassment for Williams, but some delightful schadenfruede for others.

After making an interception in the fourth quarter, Williams bounded towards the rim unchallenged and looked certain to make the score. Clearly feeling confident with the game already in the bag, the 22-year-old went to sent himself up for the alley-oop.

Setting the ball up off the backboard, Williams then propelled himself into the air to complete the dunk, only to totally mistime his leap as the ball came back. Williams then turned over possession, and was quickly taken off by coach Mike Malone.

Fortunately the Kings were already 28 points to the good at this point and got the win by 99-70, ending a seven-game losing streak.
