The NFL season is over and the start of baseball is just around the corner. Major league pitchers and catchers will report to spring training later this week but Toronto Blue Jays' Jose Reyes is getting a head start by working out- in the snow.
The shortstop is entering is second year with the Blue Jays and after missing playing time with injury last season, the Dominican born player is wasting no time this year.
A picture from the instagram account of lamelaza_7 shows Reyes and a friend enjoying a bit of catching practice in a winter wonderland.
The Blue Jays will travel to Florida to play their spring training games before returning to a hopefully warmer Toronto to begin the regular season at the end of March.
Toronto finished last season fifth in the AL East with a 74-88 record. Reyes had a batting average .296 with 10 home runs.
