With the NBA trade deadline is now just 17 days away, the Milwaukee Bucks could be set to trade away a veteran player or two in return for another pick in the first round this year, according to NBA Insider Chad Ford.
The Bucks have been incredibly awful and look to have done as much as they can to get the number one pick in the 2014 draft. But now they are looking at acquiring a mid round pick to further boost their chances. It's a risk but one a team as bad as Milwaukee have to take.
As far as guys that the Bucks can move, Larry Sanders and Ersan Ilyasova are the players to consider, but just about anyone on the roster seems to be fair game.
Whether or not Milwaukee actually makes a move is yet to be seen but the team certainly seems like they’re going to at least try to add more picks before the deadline passes.
They are currently 9-39 this season and bright sparks in the lineup to pick out are decidedly hard to pick out. Giannis Antetokounmpo - The Greek Freak - and Brandon Knight have been doing okay and should stay in the starting line up for next season.
Bringing in Julius Randle, Jabari Parker, Andrew Wiggins or Joel Embiid won't make them a playoff team immediately, but it would provide a better base to start from.
