Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery is confident their staggering league form can help them in their quest to retain the Champions League.
Ribery, 30, has helped his side to a 13 point lead in the Bundesliga, and the Frenchman believes every win in the league will give them the boost they need to do what no side has done before in Europe, reports FourFourTwo.
Pep Guardiola's men are currently on a 44 game unbeaten run in the league, and are aiming to go the season unbeaten.
"Each victory in the Bundesliga is good for our confidence in the Champions League. It is important to keep the pace high," he told German newspaper, Bild.
The German champions finished top in the group stages, ahead of Manchester City, and face Arsenal in the round of 16 for the second season running.
Arsenal won in Munich in the second-leg of that tie, but went out after being beaten 3-1 at home, and Ribery wants a London repeat when the sides meet in two weeks.
"The previous season we did very well in London but here in Munich we made too many mistakes. We must learn from this.
"We'll be ready, but it's a tough opponent," he added.
Bayern will be hoping Ribery, and fellow winger Arjen Robben, will be on top form for the matches. The duo are known as 'robbery' in Germany, and will certainly be among the biggest threats to Arsenal in the upcoming tie.
