Manchester City forward Stevan Jovetic has no regrets about joining Manchester City despite a difficult start to his career in England, reports SkySports.
Jovetic was one of the hottest properties on the market last summer, it was City who won the race to sign him though, despite reported interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Unfortunately for Jovetic, and Manuel Pellegrini, injuries, and the form of the other city forwards, have restricted him to just nine appearances for the Citizens.
But the 24-year-old has insisted he is happy to be in Manchester, claiming "I never regretted the choice."
"Sure these four-five months have been difficult at the beginning because I was not playing, I got injured often, but now it's all behind me," he said.
"I have never doubted myself even in the most difficult moments. I knew that i could play in this team and now I have to prove that."
City fans will certainly hoping he does. Injuries to top-scorer Sergio Aguero and creative players Samir Nasri and Fernandinho mean the forward has to start chipping in with some goals as the club look to regain the Premier League.
