National Signing Day: Damian Prince goes with Maryland

Five-star recruit Damian Prince, ranked number 27 in the nation, has chosen Maryland on National Signing Day 2014.

The offensive tackle had visited Florida and South Carolina in recent weeks but Maryland had always been confident of securing his signature.

With the school preparing to make the transition to the Big Ten, Prince has decided to stay in-state rather than make the move to Florida who have been left disappointed this morning.

The 6' 5", 295 pound prospect had kept his cards close to his chest in the run up to Wednesday's signing day but will now line up in Randy Edsall's program in 2014.

Reigning national champions Florida State had also made an offer to Prince but Maryland will be happy to have kept hold of the number one ranked prospect in their state.
