The Jayru Campbell bodyslam saga still won't go away, with today providing further information, as the body guard concerned is said to be still suffering from injuries.
Campbell got into an altercation with the guard at his Cass Tech high school last month, and his subsequent bodyslam was caught on camera and went viral across the world.
The MSU 2015 QB commit's future continues to be in doubt, and the guard is currently still on paid medical leave according to his employer Securitas.
"The officer was being paid while he was recovering from his injuries and is looking forward to getting back to work," wrote Securitas spokesperson Lynne Glovka in an e-mail.
Since the incident on January 20th, Wayne County Prosecutor's Office has investigated whether or not Jayru should be charged, with questions still remaining over whether or not he was provoked.
Whatever their verdict, Campbell is currently resisting opportunities to air his side of the story.
It's understood that the guard has spoken to Police about the matter, and the authorities 'are continuing to work on a warrant requests.'
More updates will come once the investigation has finished.
