This morning, four star wide receiver prospect Isaiah McKenzie sat down at American Heritage School in Florida with a Virginia Tech cap and an Ole Miss one on either side.
McKenzie had narrowed his choices to Florida,Virginia Tech and Ole Miss before and now it seemed that Florida were definitely out of the running - they were.
What McKenzie did next surprised everyone.
His high school teammate and five-star running back Sony Michel – a Georgia signee – came up to the table McKenzie was sat at and handed his friend a Bulldogs hat. McKenzie then announced to everyone that he would be following his buddy to UGA in a shock announcement.
According to Rivals, Georgia only offered McKenzie a scholarship on Monday - and he hadn't even visited the school - but the No. 35 rated wide receiver in the nation jumped at the chance to play with Michel and at Georgia.
The 5-foot-8, 165-pound speedster is the 19th commit in Georgia's 2014 class -- a class that was ranked No. 11 overall in the nation by Rivals headed into signing day.
McKenzie, who is also an exceptional punt returner has been give the nickname 'Izzy Joystick', famed for his ability to jink and get past players with ease in a broken field.
