The New York Knicks will be hoping they can end their recent glut in form by defeating the Portland Trail Blazers at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night.

Mike Woodson's side have lost their last two games against the Miami Heat and the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Knicks' defeat against the Bucks was somewhat surprising given the fact that the Central Division franchise had won just eight games out of a possible 47 before Monday's result.

Carmelo Anthony and Co. will be looking to bounce back from their shock defeat agains the Bucks when they host the Trail Blazers.

The Trail Blazers also go into tonight's game on the back of a defeat against the Washington Wizards.

Portland are currently third in the Western Conference - having won 34 games so far this season.

The Knicks' defense is going to have to be on top form as the Blazers have the best points average in the NBA.

The New York-based franchise will be out for revenge tonight as Portland won the first meeting between the two sides 102-91 at the Roda Center back in November.
