The NBA's Off The Court series offers a great insight into the lives of basketball players, and their recent behind the scenes look into the mind of Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh was no different.

Bosh revealed that he has a love of cooking that may even match his love for the game in which he is a paid professional.

Basketball may be the discipline in which he earns his millions, but his talent lies elsewhere also. Bosh doesn't just have an appetite, with food playing a massive part in his life.

"My favorite thing is eating the food, but when you can also share with the people you love, that's really good," said Bosh.

"I'm Chris Bosh of the Miami Heat, and my passion is cooking. I was always in the kitchen when I was younger. I wanted to make pancakes or I wanted to make eggs.

"You don't eat food you experience food. When I'm on the road I like to open my mind and enjoy the ambience of food from new cultures. If it looks good it tastes better."

On the show Bosh cooked his own version of fish en papillote. To see what it looked like click here
