Adoree' Jackson was the highest ranked prospect yet to commit on National Signing Day. Well now the number six overall player in the nation has announced he will be joining USC.
Jackson had offers from 12 schools including Michigan, Notre Dame, and UCLA in his native California, but Florida and USC were the favorites to get his signature. And the Trojans have won out in the end.
The nations top rated high school cornerback is also an Olympic-level long jumper and has the natural characteristics to be moulded into a standout player in a number of positions.
With speed, and good hands, not to mention an extraordinary ability to leap for balls in the air, he could easily transfer to wide receiver – a position he is likely to take up if he picks USC.
This has been an excellent day for USC as they have already picked up Damien Mama and could make it a triple sweep if they can manage to nab Juju Smith as well.
The Jackson commit has bumped USC up from No. 26 to No. 18 in 247Sports' team rankings.
