There has been a debate rumbling in the NFL over the past few weeks around the issue of marijuana.
The drug is currently banned for use in the league but with marijuana now legal in the franchise states of Colorado and Washington there has been increased discussion about whether the National Football League should allow players to use it for medical reasons.
But New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie isn't concerned with the ongoing discussion either way:
"They need to just let it go.
"We're just going to do it anyway," the player told television host Ashlee Ray.
NFL commissioner Rodger Goodell spoke recently of the situation, and he made it clear that the league is monitoring any developments:
"We'll continue to follow the medicine.
Our experts right now are not indicating that we should change our policy in any way. We are not actively considering that at this point in time," he told ESPN New York.
We can't be sure whether Cromartie believes NFL players are keen to utilise the drug for it's supposed medical properties, or recreational benefits, but it looks like he at least isn't going to be affected by any changes in NFL rulings.
