Despite Gareth Bale's £85m departure to Real Madrid last summer this season's Premier League has been blessed with star quality, with talented players across the division prepared to take chances to settle tight matches and keep paying fans happy.

In a modern football landscape filled with a plethora of stats and facts pass completion rates are often emphasised, but which players are daring to run at opponents consistently and proving successful in one-on-one situations.

GMS has endeavoured to find out just that with the help of database Squawka, counting down the top 10 Premier League players with the highest success rate in take-on's so far this season, the term which defines dribbling past an opposition player.

To set the benchmark high any player included in our top 10 must have been successful in take-on situations at least 30 times to be considered, with the likes of Mesut Ozil, Luis Suarez and David Silva all amazingly snubbed in this particular poll.
