Deportivo Tachira goalkeeper Jose Contreras pulled off an unbelievable piece of showboating skill at the weekend, after racing out to make a sliding tackle before turning back to nutmeg the opposition striker he'd previously dispossessed.
Even more impressively, is the fact that this Venezuelan stopper is just 19, and helped earn his side a 0-0 draw with ACD Lara, after not only denying Gustavo Paez when clear through on goal, but also making a mockery of his adversary.
A mistimed challenge by Contreras would surely have resulted in a red card and sending off, with the centre-forward bearing down whilst clean through on goal.
However, the talented teenager made a perfectly timed interception on the edge of his own box, and then displayed the nimble footwork of an outfield professional to slip the ball between the legs of a bemused Paez.
