Last night Tracy McGrady surprised us all by announcing that he is set to start a career as a minor league baseball pitcher.

The two time NBA scoring champion is serious about this and said he would consider pitching in the Majors a greater achievement than anything he managed as a basketball player with the Houston Rockets among others.

T-Mac isn't the first basketball player to start a baseball career, Michael Jordan is the obvious example, but there have been lots of athletes gone before him that have excelled at two and sometimes even more disciplines. 

So here we'll take a look at those incredible sportsmen, whom it would be hard to pigeonhole as just a football, baseball or basketball player, without mentioning what else they accomplished.
