Watch: Justin Bieber attempts to show off hockey skills at local team

Published Add your comment

When he isn't posing for police mug shots or, allegedly, drag racing around the streets of Miami, pop star Justin Bieber apparently likes to rock up to local hockey teams and join in with practice.

The controversial star posted footage today on his Instagram account showing his skills on the ice at the Marietta Ice Center near Atlanta.

Rather than donning the traditional uniform Bieber can be seen skating around in skinny jeans and a fair amount of 'bling' - maybe it will set a trend for future NHL games ahead.

As reported by Access Atlanta, one member of the public who was at the arena at the time described his low-key entrance:

"Two limos pulled up and Justin walked right out with his entourage.

"He skated for a while...he was there for about an hour."

The Canadian artists' video shows he is not averse to the dark arts of the game either, clipping one of his new teammates as he is beaten to the puck.

And it seems like the 19-year old escaped unscathed - there must have been a few secret Beliebers on the ice.
