Metta World Peace continued his foray into children;s literature today, when it was announced the player has written his second book.
Entitled 'Metta's World Peace and Love Stories', the New York Knicks man described the concept via his Twitter account:
"The reason I dropped my Love Stories is because we learn how to by dysfunctional, but never learned how to Love," he told followers.
The 34-year old NBA star previously released 'Metta's Bedtime Stories in 2013 and it seems he has caught the writing bug.
We arn't quite sure what the stories will entail, but the 2010 NBA champion gave some insight into the thought process:
"This book is a simple to interact with your child, nephew, niece, lil brother etc... at a young age and instill the importance of love and family togetherness... you know; all the good stuff."
We hope he spell-checked the final copy more thoroughly than his tweets.
The player also included pictures of two stories we assume will feature in the new children's book; 'Seven Days of Love' and 'Mirror Mirror'.
Anyway, with the Knicks struggling on the court this season (19-29) and Metta struggling for minutes, it is good to see the guy is doing something productive with his time off the court.
