Good afternoon and welcome to the GiveMeSport report - on the day that the KP saga finally went nuts and Beckham announced plans to bronze his golden balls in the Miami sun - here are the latest sport headlines.
We start in Miami where David Beckham says he'll look to sign up 'some of the best players in football' for his newly unveiled Miami MLS franchise.
"We are happy to welcome 'Mr Beckman' to Miami" proclaimed Miami mayor Carlos Jiminez as - BECKHAM - talked up his plans to build a stadium from scratch and how owning a franchise is a dream come true.
Not quite on the same level as Martin Luther King, but each to to their own.
It was tears for Piers once again last night as former newspaper editor turned outraged Twitter rumour monger Piers Morgan went into bat for his pal Kevin Pietersen - lashing out at wicketkeeper Matt Prior for allegedly stabbing the abandoned batsmen in the back.
On a confusing day for cricket in general Pietersen's pop star wife Jessica had it out with Dominic Cork (not literally), TV presenter Dermot O'Leary waded into the debate and rugby philosopher Brian Moore accused Morgan of lying and misleading the public.
Where could he possibly have got that idea from?
Arsene Wenger had a little nibble on Luis Suarez last year but says there's no chance of a second helping of the Uruguayan this summer.
Arsenal tried and failed with a bid of *just* more than £40 million for the Liverpool striker in August - but since then Suarez has put pen to paper on a new deal at Anfield.
"It didn't come off and that's that," said Wenger". "He was never our player".
It could well be a case of Veni, vidi, vici and quite possibly arrivederci for Vidic - the Manchester United defender is said to be furious at the lack of a contract offer from the Red Devils and could be on his way to Inter Milan.
