Manchester United are still trying to snatch Chris Wilcock from archrivals Arsenal, according to the Daily Mail.
The 16-year-old is one of the standout stars in the latest generation of Arsenal youngsters, impressing academy coaches since joining the Gunners in July.
However, he is yet to sign any kind of scholarship contract with Arsenal and Manchester United are ready to take advantage.
The Red Devils have already convinced his brother Matty to swap north London for Manchester and hope the chance to play alongside his sibling will be too tempting to turn down.
Because Wilcock has yet to sign scholar forms with Arsenal, United can sign the England youth international for as little as £300,000.
The transfer would be a third time in 18 months that a player has swapped Arsenal for Manchester United.
Before brother Matty moved to Old Trafford a rather more high profile player in the form of Robin van Persie also made the switch.
Although the Wilcock brothers are quite far away from being mentioned in the same breath as Van Persie, their vast talent suggests that one day they will be.
