NBA fans will be treated to the Grammy Award winning talents of Pharrell Williams when he headlines the NBA All-Star Game on February 16th.
Williams will make an awesome entrance when he opens the NBA All-Star 2014 festivities with the only player introductions set in all of sports, featuring unique musical guests.
The former NERD performer and now solo artist is expected to provide an electrifying performance.
He will then be followed by singer-songwriter and guitarist Gary Clark, Jr. who will perform the U.S. National Anthem, and Canadian singer-songwriter Serena Ryder who will perform the Canadian National Anthem.
At halftime, New Orleans native Trombone Shorty and his band Orleans Avenue will tip off the celebration of New Orleans-influenced music with performers including multiplatinum singer-songwriter Janelle Monáe, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Dr. John, Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter and guitarist Gary Clark Jr. and the legendary band Earth, Wind & Fire.
The All-Star game itself will see the Western Conference versus the Eastern Conference, and the mach-up will showcase NBA greats Kevin Durant and LeBron James, as they face off in what's expected to be an epic tussle.
