9. Steve McClaren

Since taking charge of the team when they were 3-0 down at half-time to Ipswich and masterminding a 4-4 draw, McClaren has been a breath of fresh air at Derby.

Sitting fourth in the table the Rams now have a decent chance of winning automatic promotion.

Should he achieve promotion with Derby, McClaren will have gone a long way to rehabilitating his managerial reputation. The LMA ranks him as the ninth best manager of the season so far.
