In the NFL, Seattle Seahawks had their Super Bowl parade party yesterday, with over one million fans gathering in the streets of Seattle to welcome home their World Champions.

The Seahawks defeated Denver Broncos 43-8 in Super Bowl XLVIII Sunday in one of the most dominant teams performances in NFL history.

Moving to basketball, and Miami Heat edged out the LA Clippers last night in an epic tussle between two of the NBA's powerhouses.

The Clippers staged a late fightback inspired by Blake Griffin's huge 43-point performance, but the Heat held on to win 116 to 112.

Meanwhile, In the NHL Sidney Crosby led his Penguins to a 5-1 rout of the Sabres. And finally in MLB, the Braves signed first baseman Freddie Freeman to a 135 million dollar record contract.
