The list of invitees to the 2014 NFL Combine set to begin Wednesday, February 19 at Lucas oil Stadium, Indianapolis has been released today.
In total 335 players have been invited to attend, including a record 85 underclassman.
The week long event is one of the key precursors to the NFL draft as college players have the opportunity to show their physical and technical ability in a range of specifically designed tests - performing under the eagle eye of NFL scouts, and medical staff.
During the week long event the likes of Johnny Manziel (Texas A&M), Teddy Bridgewater (Louisville) and Jake Matthews (Texas A&M) will be tested in events such as the 40-yard dash, vertical jump as well as a range of position specific drills.
Perform well and you can move up the draft board, struggle in the high-pressured environment and you may see you your chances of a pro contract dwindle significantly.
Alabama will be best represented at the 2014 Combine with 12 Crimson Tide athletes invited to attend.
LSU is next with 11, while Notre Dame and reigning National Champions Florida State each have nine representatives.
