The San Antonio Spurs will travel to the red hot Brooklyn Nets with a severely depleted team tonight. Tim Duncan and Tony Parker will both miss out of a Spurs team which is already without Manu Ginobili and Kawhi Leonard.

The Brooklyn Nets are familiar with injury woes this season, they have played without Brook Lopez and Deron Williams for much of the year but have been able to make a playoff surge in 2014 regardless.

The Spurs currently sit three games back of the Oklahoma City Thunder in second and will hope to remain competitive with help from their bench.

Coach, Gregg Popovich praised his replacements for doing just that in their recent victory over the Washington Wizards:

"For these guys, I couldn't be prouder of what they did," said Popovich. "With Kawhi and Manu and Tony not out there, I thought the bench guys really stepped up."

The Nets have won six of their last nine games to rise up to seventh in the Eastern standings and have plenty of improvement left in their team before the All-Star break.

Andrei Kirilenko, Joe Johnson and Andray Blatche are all expected to return to the lineup after missing out of the Philadelphia 76ers game with injury.
