Chelsea are considering offloading any or all of the three strikers currently in the squad, according to the Daily Mail.

Reports surfaced yesterday that Edison Cavani's representatives were in London to hold talks with several clubs–Chelsea included–regarding the player's future.

Chelsea's interest in the PSG striker is all part of a rebuilding process at Stamford Bridge as Jose Mourinho prepares major changes in the summer.

Part of that change could include a wholesale swap in striking talent, with the manager considering the sale of Demba Ba and Fernando Torres while Samuel Eto'o could leave for free.

Eto'o's contract runs out in the summer and an extension has yet to be offered. Thanks to some inconsistant performances for Chelsea, it is though Mourinho has been left unconvinced by the Cameroon international and is ready to let him leave.

Meanwhile Ba is also free to leave the club and may well have done so already if he had been allowed to move to Arsenal last summer.

Torres, although receiving frequent praise from the Chelsea manager, may also be sold if the right offer comes in. Although his level of effort has increased noticeably this season, his scoring record remains unimpressive.

Meanwhile Romelu Lukaku is set to return to Stamford Bridge after two seasons out on loan and Mourinho is hoping to bring in a star striker like Cavani to replace to replace the faltering trio.
