Bubble football has not yet reached the level of popularity to determine it a ‘craze’, but the profile of this bizarre new sport is certainly increasing.

This will no doubt be helped after a game of bubble football was contested on Jimmy Fallon’s NBC show between the comedian turned talkshow host and actor Colin Farrell.

Taking place in a lobby and using elevators for goals, Fallon teams up with Frank Knuckles while Farrell is paired with Chris Pratt. And, is often seems to be the case, the foursome are more intent on careering into each other than scoring.

Farrell and Pratt do, though, manage to grab a couple of goals and get the win 2-0.

Fallon, meanwhile, is in his final run on Late Night as he prepares to succeed Jay Leno on the esteemed Tonight Show following the Winter Olympics.

Oh, and thanks must go to 101greatgoals for bringing this to our attention.
