Manchester United manager David Moyes has been faced with his fair share of critics since taking charge at Old Trafford last summer, but those disgruntled fans and detractors are getting more creative with each passing week.
Moyes suffered another blow today with Nemanja Vidic's announcement that he will leave Old Trafford at the end of the season, a decision that has been received by an imaginative Twitter troll spotted by the Metro this afternoon.
Social media has not proved sympathetic to the Scot's plight though, with a brilliant image depicting Robin van Persie joining Vidic on a life boat away from a sinking ship at Old Trafford, taking the Premier League title with him.
The Red Devils boss faces a number of difficult decisions over experienced players this summer, although Vidic's early announcement has removed one headache for the struggling tactician.
Vidic's departure means Moyes is left swimming against the tide in terms of keeping experienced players at the club, although Van Persie remains very much a star man at Old Trafford despite Twitter claiming its time to leave a sinking ship.
