Everyone knows by now that Richard Sherman isn't afraid to speak his mind, NFL network had Sherman mic'd up for the Super Bowl and were able to hear the lock-down corner call out opposition wide receiver Wes Welker.

First of all a bit of background, Wes Welker had publicly announced that he fears no one when it comes to covering him, Welker had said on media day before the Superbowl: "I want anybody one-on-one in the slot, anytime."

Sherman chose not to respond on media day but instead waited until they were eye to eye on the battlefield before calling out the slot receiver.

Kam Chancellor delivered a punishing hit on Demaryius Thomas that was heard around the Stadium and Sherman took his opportunity to talk some trash to Welker: "“Don’t you ever say you want one-on-ones with us. Don’t you ever say that.”

It was evident on Super Bowl Sunday that the Denver Broncos were completely dominated by the Seattle Seahawks and looked overmatched in every department.

The Legion of Boom have staked their claim to becoming one of the top defences of all time, the intimidation factor is plain to see and Sherman may have a point that not many players will want one-on-ones with them any time soon.
