Celtic new-boy Leigh Griffiths is bidding to make his Parkhead bow in his side's Scottish Cup fifth-round clash against SPL rivals Aberdeen, according to The Herald.
Neil Lennon's side host Aberdeen at Parkhead as they attempt to make it three wins out of three against Derek McInnes' men this season.
Lennon's side will be attempting to protect the silverware that they won last season and spearheading the side could be Griffiths, who completed his move to Scotland from League One side Wolverhampton for an undisclosed fee last week.
Griffiths, who has recently had a good spell in England with Wolves, looks could start the game which would presumably result in either Giorgios Samaras or Anthony Stokes dropping to the bench.
Former Birmingham City striker Adam Rooney looks to be Aberdeen's brightest hope of coming away with a result, with the striker in a rich vein of form since his January move to Scotland.
3000+ Aberdeen fans look set to make the journey to the SPL leaders in an attempt to cheer their side on to what would be a famous victory.
