Money spent in the last five years: £188.2m

Arsenal have spent a perfectly respectful amount of money over the last five years, but the most astonishing thing is that they are one of only three clubs to have made money with their transfer market dealings.

They've recouped £192 million which means they've actually pocketed an extra £4.1 million in the past five years by selling players like Samir Nasri and Alex Song at an inflated price after buying them relatively cheaply.

Everton and Newcastle are the other clubs to be in the black when it comes to their transfer dealings.
