The Los Angeles Lakers will be without shooting guard Nick Young for two weeks after MRI scans revealed he has suffered a fracture knee.
Injury woes continue to plague the Lakers who only recently finished with five available players in their win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, despite Robert Sacre fouling out of the contest.
Mike Trudell reported that: "Nick Young suffered a non-displaced fracture of the patella and a bone bruise in his left knee. He's out a minimum of two weeks."
This latest setback leaves the Lakers without their three leading scorers on the season, as Jodie Meeks is still out with a sprained ankle and Pau Gasol will miss the All-Star break with a groin problem.
Lakers responded quickly to the sorry news of Young's injury by venturing into the D-League to sign Shawne Williams on a 10-day contract from the Los Angeles D-Fenders.
A depleted Lakers roster will travel to Philadelphia to play the 76ers tonight to complete their short three game road trip before returning home to host the Bulls on Sunday.
