Johnny Manziel is the talk of the NFL Draft speculation, with next week's Combine (February 19th) set to give him the opportunity to showcase his skills to prospective teams.

At what point in the Draft he will be picked will depend on what coaches make of Johnny Football's potential impact in the league, but former Texans defensive coach Wade Phillips believes in him and compared him to Earl Campbell.

The former Hall of Fame running back had a significant effect on the NFL, and Phillips believes Manziel could well do the same, and he insists Houston should pick him up.

Phillips had interview for the Houston head coaching role, but Bill O'Brien won the race.

However, despite this the former Dallas head coach wishes the Texans the best and he had this to say about Manziel

"He is the kind of guy who makes plays nobody else can make. Having another Heisman Trophy winner from Texas come to Houston . . . I just thought that would have been neat to see.”
