7. Gary Pallister

Gary Pallister played an integral role for Manchester United during the early years of the Premier League era - and his performances did not go unnoticed by the PFA, who voted him into the Premier League Team of the Year in 1993, 1994, 1995 and 1998.

The colossal central defender, who made 22 appearances for England, won four Premier League titles, three FA Cups and a League Cup during his nine-year spell at Old Trafford before rejoining Middlesbrough in 1998.
