6. Jamie Carragher

A true Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher may not have been as talented as others on this list, but he more than made up for it with his passion, heart and incredible will to win.

The 36-year-old - who brought an end to his 17-year-old career at Anfield, and his playing days, at the end of last season - made a total of 737 appearances for Liverpool, while he also became the Reds’ second-longest ever serving player during the closing stages of his tremendous career, which saw him win three League Cups, two FA Cups and the 2005 European Cup.
