Premier League: Predicted summer transfer business (4)

Published 2 Comments

Chelsea

Chelsea are looking like the most complete unit in the Premier League at the moment.

Despite selling Juan Mata in January, the creativity in midfield remains in abundance while the experience in defence can't be faulted.

However, cracks are beginning to appear at the back and concerns about the quality of their strikers won't go away.

Kurt Zouma will arrive in the summer to replace an ageing John Terry but a new left-back is needed to cover for the potential departure of Ashley Cole. Luke Shaw's  arrival from Southampton looks inevitable.

Meanwhile a top class striker could be arriving at Stamford Bridge. There are a number of targets to choose from but Edison Cavani looks the most viable at the moment.

Ins: Luke Shaw, Edinson Cavani

Outs: Ashley Cole, Demba Ba, Samuel Eto'o
