The FIFA World Cup this year in Brazil will be without the Swedish International Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The very recognisable player won’t be playing in the tournament this year and because of this it leaves the World Cup without one of the world's top talents.

The Swede and his team were knocked out of the tournament during the play-off rounds by Portugal, Cristiano Ronaldo scoring a hat-trick that night.

Ibrahimovic is always able to produce magic on the pitch and even now he still manages to drop jaws, proved by his FIFA Puskas Award winning goal of the year against England.

Many see Ibrahimovic as one of the best players in the world currently with the player himself stating that he doesn't need trophies to know he’s the best.

Called arrogant by some, gifted by many but you can’t disagree that he is just a fantastic player. He doesn't always manage to rub people the right way because of he’s tendencies to cause controversy.

The World Cup this year might be without Zlatan Ibrahimovic but this year does still have some of the best players in the world that could make this tournament fantastic.

With the likes of Neymar, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, the 2014 World Cup does show promise. However, it will be missing something a certain magic that only Zlatan Ibrahimovic can produce.

The Swedish national team does boast some talented players and the team could have done very well in the tournament.
