After what some would describe as a moment of anger from college basketball star Marcus Smart, questions have been raised as to what provoked him into pushing a fan.
Oklahoma State were down two points to Texas Tech in the second half with 6.2 seconds to go when Marcus Smart committed a foul, launching himself into the crowd in the process.
After falling into the crowd, Smart rose to his feet and pushed a fan in the row behind him. He then continued to shout back at the fan whilst being dragged away by his team-mates. Smart received a technical foul for the outburst and was allowed to stay in the game, causing controversy between fans and players.
Nothing can completely justify this response but you have to wonder why a smart young athlete with a very bright future ahead of him would risk throwing it away by giving the fan the response he wanted.
The fan, later to be identified as Jeff Orr, is seen to have a history of taunting players, leading people to wonder if Smart's actions can be partially justified as he could have been provoked.
