Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has challenged his players to remain at the foot of the table until the end of the season.
Victory at West Brom would give Mourinho's side a massive advantage in the title race, as he attempts to bring back a fourth Premier League title back to Stamford Bridge.
"We are going to fight to stay where we are. We are in the race. I like being top of the Premier League. We have 13 matches to play and the difference between first and fourth is six points," Mourinho told reporters.
And the Blues boss is adamant that his side need to be as far away from the teams around them as possible if they are to confirm their place in the Champions League.
"I keep saying I want the fifth team far from us because the Champions League spot is so important. When the fifth is far away we will be focused on the four and then you have better conditions to fight for the title."
His Blues side are top of the league with 13 games left to play, and the former Real Madrid boss believes his side are well in the race to challenge for the Premier League title.
Chelsea head to the Hawthorns to take on struggling West Brom on Tuesday night, but Mourinho will have to do without his captain John Terry, who misses out for the second week in succession through injury.
