Welcome to GiveMeSport – Social. Where we have a look at the weekend’s social media best bits!

First up. Manchester United - things are going from bad to worse. After their defeat on Sunday Chicharito decided to post this on his official Instagram account…. "The time to speak about so many things will come" Could the little pea be on his way out in the summer?

On to Arsenal. A team that fell apart this weekend. Against a rampant Liverpool side at Anfield. Wilshere, Podolski & Giroud all took to twitter to apologies to their fans, and are confident of bouncing back for their game against United on Wednesday.

It's not all doom and gloom for the top clubs in the Premier League. Chelsea with the highflying Eden hazard taking to Facebook and Instagram to celebrate his first hat-trick for the club.

This weekend was the start of the Winter Olympics in Sochi. It didn't begin well for the host nation - a malfunctioning snowflake left the Olympic Rings looking like this - and it didn’t take long for the Internet to react!

And finally, British athletes competed in the Sainsbury’s British Athletics Indoor championships over the weekend. And some positive news for Britain saw Katarina Johnson-Thompson take gold in the high jump with a national record of 1.96m.

That's all for this week, send us in your pictures or videos to us via email or use our social media channels and we’ll pick the best ones to show them in the next show.
