Manchester United star Wilfried Zaha has insisted that his Instagram picture that he uploaded earlier today was not meant as a "dig" at David Moyes.

The England international, who is on loan at Cardiff City, posted a picture of himself standing next to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and said in the caption: "Nothing like someone who believes in you."

Zaha had struggled at the Red Devils under David Moyes this season before heading out on loan to Cardiff City.

The youngster rarely featured in the first half of the season for the Premier League champions, however he's insisted that the picture he posted was not meant as an indirect message to the Manchester United manager.

Zaha Tweeted: "My last Instagram picture was not intended as a dig or indirect at my manager, I have nothing but respect ..

"My picture actually meant ole solskjaer has a lot faith for me to do something for cardiff's current position."

Zaha will be desperate to help Cardiff City remain in the Premier League top-flight this season. The on loan Manchester United star has had a decent start to life at Cardiff and set up two goals on his debut for the side earlier this month.

Manchester United fans will now be hoping that the 21-year-old can pick up valuable experience at Solskjaer's team before he heads back to the Theatre of Dreams in the summer.
