The Indiana Pacers scored a season high for points as they beat the Denver Nuggets 119-80 in Indiana on Monday night.
The victory margin for the Pacers (39) is also a season high for the ball club and sets the record for the widest margin of victory in the history of the Pacers-Nuggets series.
David West led all scorers in the contest with his 25 point outing and he did so in only 27 minutes of action, Roy Hibbert also added 14 points in the victory.
West commented on the performance of the team: "We played with the right attitude. We came out aggressively. We got off to a good start,” before adding “Tonight, we made a concentrated effort to get to the goal. No letdowns."
Impressive response from the home team in the Bankers Life Fieldhouse stadium only days after the last second upset to the Orlando Magic.
The Eastern Conference leading Pacers now move to 40-11 on the season which leaves them four games ahead of the chasing Miami Heat.
The Pacers continue at home for the next two fixtures, entertaining the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday before hosting the Atlanta Hawks on February 19th.
