Arsenal face Manchester United in the Premier League on Wednesday evening, a game which both sides will surely view as a chance for swift redemption after a difficult weekend.
For the hosts, Saturday brought a surprising and frankly 5-1 defeat at the hands of Liverpool, with Martin Skrtel, Raheem Sterling and Daniel Sturridge doing the damage at Anfield.
It was a shock of a defeat for Arsene Wenger's men, who still led the Premier League going into Saturday's early kick-off. Arsenal were systematically dismantled by Liverpool and were comfortably second best in every single department.
Despite such a freak loss, however, Arsenal will be confident of securing a result at home to Manchester United.
David Moyes is coming under increasing pressure from his club's own supporters following a dismal 2-2 draw with relegation-threatened Fulham on Sunday afternoon and his players will be surely incredibly short of confidence ahead of their trip to the Emirates Stadium.
In terms of team news for Arsenal, there are no new injury worries for Wenger following Saturday's humiliation. Yaya Sanogo, the inexperienced French forward, is available for selection if required.
Theo Walcott will obviously not be involved on Wednesday, with the England winger set to miss the rest of the season - and probably the 2014 World Cup - with a serious knee problem, while Aaron Ramsey is still out with a thigh issue and new loan signing Kim Kallstrom has a back injury.
Personally, I think Wenger will be keen to demonstrate his faith in his team after one disappointing result. While I would expect Kieran Gibbs to come back into the side at the expense of Nacho Monreal, I'm not convinced Wenger will make too many other changes.
Predicted Arsenal v Manchester United XI:
Szczesny; Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs; Arteta, Wilshere; Cazorla, Ozil, Oxlade-Chamberlain; Giroud.
