According to police reports, an SUV registered to former Detroit Piston star Ben Wallace crashed into a face outside a home in Henrico County early Saturday morning.
In the early hours of the morning on the 8th February, local resident Silverio Acosta awoke to what he said "sounded like a bomb" as an SUV had crashed through his garden fence
With the remnants of his fence all over his yard, Silverio said "It was dark, but it’s clear from here I saw one person trying to fight to get out of the car."
Multiple police sources have confirmed to CBS news that the car that caused the damage was in fact licensed to former NBA All-Star Ben Wallace.
In 2011, Wallace pleaded guilty to drink driving and weapon possession charges due to an accident that occurred just outside of Detroit.
Silverio who admits to not being an NBA fan described the man fleeing from the scene of the crash as being very tall but admitted he could not see his face so that he could identify him.
Police have said that the case is ongoing and at the present time, no one has been charged.
