4: David Luiz | £29m

Destined to be met with a mixed reception, the reports claiming David Luiz is set for a summer switch to Barcelona have been the talk of the town for a number of months.

Whilst the Brazil international doesn't receive as much criticism as he did in his early Stamford Bridge days, Jose Mourinho remains unconvinced by his claim for a regular centre-back berth, as evidenced by his preference of the John Terry and Gary Cahill partnership.

The Blues are said to be willing to part ways with Luiz for a fee of around £29million, though that may rise or fall depending on his performances from now until after the World Cup.

With Barca planning a squad overhaul at the culmination of this campaign, the door is open for the transfer to take place without too many foreseeable hitches.
