Manchester United and Barcelona target Miralem Pjanic is set to hold talks with AS Roma about the possibility of signing a new contract this week, according to talkSPORT.
The 23-year-old playmaker's current deal at Stadio Olimpico runs until 2015, but the Serie 'A' giants are keen to re-open negotiations following widespread January interest in his signature.
Red Devils boss David Moyes was reportedly keen to bring Pjanic to Old Trafford last month, and remains eager to add him to his ranks in the summer, even after the £37.1million capture of Juan Mata in the mid-season window.
Tata Martino has also been mooted as an admirer of the Bosnia international, with suggestions he could also switch to Camp Nou, and join Barcelona at the end of the season.
Pjanic's agent, Michael Becker, and Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini are due to sit down together in the coming days, with the player ready to demand a bumper pay-rise to stay in Italy, in light of interest from Barcelona and Manchester United.
