We start with the news that Stephen Gallacher has been named as the European Tour’s player of the month.

It comes after the Scot became the first ever golfer to successfully defend the Dubai Desert Classic in it’s 25 year history.

But things aren’t so rosy for England’s Tyrell Hatton. With 3 qualifying spots for this year’s Open Championship up for grabs - for the top 3 finishers at the Joburg Open who weren’t otherwise exempt, he thought he’d done enough...

Tied second with Justin Walters and Jin Jeong, the 22-year-old just missed out due to his lower world ranking, and tweeted his disappointment as he headed home.

The PGA Tour moves onto the historic Riviera Country Club this week and Rickie Fowler has been getting more practice in alongside Peter Uihlein

The pair, who between them have missed the cut four times in their last five appearances, decided to take a different approach at the range with these ‘super-flops’.

And finally we all know Jason Dufner as the most laid-back star on Tour, but check out the PGA Championship winner as you’ve never seen him before.
