Kobe Bryant finally gets to hang out with a winner

Kobe Bryant has been able to do very little to prevent the LA Lakers from having a bit of a shocker this season, with the esteemed franchise posting a record of 18-33 for the campaign so far and having just come off the back of seven straight losses.

The 35-year-old NBA icon missed the start of 2013-14 due to an Achilles injury he sustained the previous season and, just six games into his comeback, was forced back into the treatment room once again.

Bryant is out with a fractured lateral tibial plateau - essentially his kneecap - and his fitness will be re-evaluated during the All-Star break, and his is using his time in rehab to forget about the losers he has to call teammates.

During the shooting of a new Nike commercial, Kobe was able to hang out with a real winner as he shot the breeze with SuperBowl champ Richard Sherman as they took a break in filming.

Sherman played a prominent role in shutting out Peyton Manning and his offense in the Championship game at the MetLife Stadium, as the Seattle Seahawks beat the Denver Broncos 43-8.

Kobe certainly looked pleased to see the loudmouth cornerback, and posted a picture on Instagram of the two of them together.
