Tottenham and Aston Villa have joined the race to sign Dutch starlet Davy Klaassen from Ajax, reports talkSPORT

The 20-year-old has already starred for the Holland U-21 side and moved through the ranks of the Ajax youth academy.

Despite Arsenal legend Marc Overmars previously insisting that the youngster was not for sale, it now appears that some of the Premier League's top clubs could battle for the player's services in the summer.

The attacking midfielder has attracted great interest from England's elite clubs of late, with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United reportedly ready to make a move for the star

If Tottenham and Aston Villa are going to challenge Chelsea and Manchester United for the Dutch ace, then the bidding could start at around £5 million

Manchester United have been heavily tipped to spend this summer and it remains to be seen as to whether their rivals Chelsea and Tottenham will spend big in the next window.
